Auburn beats Mississippi St. 89-80 In Final Game in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum History
Auburn played well with Waller scoring 22 points and Knox picking up 21 to lead Auburn to an 89-80 win over Mississippi State on Wednesday night in a game where the five seniors accounted for all but 11 of the Tigers' points. Auburn also said goodbye to Beard-Eaves on Wednesday night with a special post game ceremony. Former players, coaches, and fans were in attendance at the game. Watch the video for more.

War on Hunger
The Committee of 19 is Auburn University's student led group in the campaign against world hunger. The Committee is putting on two big events in the coming weeks. This weekend, they are hosting the University Hunger Summit at the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center. Students and educators from across the country and across the world are coming to the Summit to discuss what can be done to fight world hunger. The second event is the Hunger March to the capitol steps in Montgomery. Students, faculty, and members of the community are joining up to take a stand against hunger by walking the 60 miles to Montgomery. Kurt Sasser Wins SGA Presidential Run-Off
In a special run-off election, Kurt Sasser won 57% of the vote becoming the next SGA President at Auburn University. Right after the victory Sassor said "I've never experienced anything like this in my life...The face should describe it all. I’m in shock, I’m excited." Eagle Eye News was there for the announcement and celebration.
A Hug From Taylor Swift
Michael Wekall and Ryan Leander take you along for their journey to get a hug from Taylor Swift. They have been using social media like Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube to help spread the word about their goal. Their Facebook group currently has over 1600 members and growing. Last week, they also went out with our camera crew to practice hugging and continue filming their flip camera documentary. Kristi McGahee Elected Miss Auburn, Cink and Sasser in Run-off for SGA President
Kristi MaGahee, whose platform is P.A.W.S. (Plainsmen in Action for Wounded Soldiers), was just announced the 2010 Miss Auburn. As Miss Auburn, she will serve as the official hostess for Auburn University, and continue to promote her platform throughout the community.
Ashley Nichols, with 69% of the vote, was elected SGA Vice President over Brandon Gillespie.
Spencer Moore, who ran unopposed will serve as the 2010 SGA Treasurer.
