A Word from Watkins: H1N1 Vaccine Now Available
H1N1 Vaccination will be being administered today from 8am - 1pm in the Auburn University Student Center as well as on Thursday from 8am - 1pm in the Auburn University Student Center. Please make sure to go by and get your vaccination. It is important for all students to get vaccinated.

Rocky Top Toppled
For the fifth straight time in the series the Auburn Tigers football team upended the Tennessee Volunteers. This time by a score of 26-22. It was the first road test for the Tigers of the season, and the first strong defense the Gus Malzahn offensive machine had faced. The Tigers marched right though it, however racking up more than 400 yards of offense, 100 more yards than the Volunteers had given up to any previous opponent. It appeared that the third largest crowd in Auburn football history was going to be a factor for the Tigers as they were held out of the end zone for a quarter and half, but the Tigers soon found their rhythm as they wore down the vaunted Vol defense as the game wore on.

Roberts nominated to Board of Trustees
Ben Tom "B.T." Roberts of Mobile was nominated today to complete the term of the late John C.H. "Jack" Miller Jr. on the Auburn University Board of Trustees.
If confirmed by the Alabama Senate, Roberts will represent Choctaw, Clarke, Marengo, Mobile, Monroe, Washington and Wilcox counties on the Auburn Board through May 10, 2012. Roberts was selected for the position in a unanimous vote by the Auburn University Trustee Selection Committee, which includes Gov. Bob Riley, two members of the Auburn Alumni Association's Board of Directors and two Auburn trustees.

The Women’s Philanthropy Board's 2009 Fall Luncheon was a gold medal event, where Olympic Gold medalist and Auburn University alumna, Kirsty Coventry, was the keynote speaker.
More than 300 special guests, Philanthropy Board members and students were in attendance at the luncheon Friday, September 11, at the Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center Ballroom.
Auburn University’s Women Philanthropy Board is an organization of the College of Human Sciences that is led by an executive committee of women leaders in business and public service, who are committed to inspiring, educating, and enabling women, according to the Women’s Philanthropy Board (WPB) web site at www.humsci.auburn.edu/wpb.
