Auburn University Professor Struck by Drunk Driver Remains in Critical Condition
Around 9:30 p.m. last Friday, Auburn University Professor, Shouju Chen, was struck by 20-year-old drunk driver, Thomas Latham, a pre-business sophomore. Chen was airlifted to Columbus Regional Medical Center where she remains in critical condition. According to police reports, Latham was arrested at the scene, sent to Lee County Detention Center, and will face DUI charges.
