The Auburn University Singers will present their annual Spring Show at Telfair Peet Theatre on the Auburn campus on Sunday, December 6 at 2:30 and 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, December 8 at 5:45 and 8:15 p.m. Under the direction of Dale Farmer, the show choir will present a wide array of popular and show music complete with costumes and choreography. Just a few of the songs to be performed include Lift Up Your Eyes, Footloose, a medley featuring Auburn University spirit songs, and other foot-tapping songs. Individual and small group talent will also be showcased through a variety of contemporary styles such as country, rock and roll, and inspirational music.

Now in its 38th year, the choral entertainment ensemble of 36 singers and 10 instrumentalists began in 1972 at Auburn and has since been presenting its own distinct combination of excellent choral sound with eye-catching choreography which is uniquely designed to musically enhance performances. The Singers have performed for television, schools, churches, and professional and civic organizations in hundreds of locales worldwide from the Auburn campus to Warsaw, Poland. Members of the group come from across the country and major in many academic disciplines.

Tickets to the show are $ 7 for Auburn University students with valid I.D., and $10 general admission. To make reservations call 844-4165.
