Auburn Falls to Troy 81-77

DeWayne Reed and Frankie Sullivan combined for 34 points yet it was not enough to hold off Troy and Brandon Hazzard's game-high 28 points. Hazzard went 7-10 in three point shooting and as a team Troy knocked down 13 of 25 shots from beyond the arc. Auburn was down as much as eight with just over 11 minutes left in the game yet managed to claw back and regain the lead at 74-73 with 1:46 left in regulation. However, Troy took advantage of some sloppy play late in the game to take the lead on consecutive fast break layups by Volger and Hazard. Auburn had 10 turnovers and allowed Troy to shoot 53.7% from the field.
