Groundbreaking for New Auburn MRI Research Center

By Bradley Green - Posted on 05 February 2010, 2:48am

Auburn University held a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday for the new MRI Research Center. University President Jay Gogue and Alabama Governor Bob Riley were in attendance. The facility is estimated to cost about 21 million dollars and will be one of the first 7 Telsa MRI machines in the nation. The center will bring prestige to Auburn, but will also help save lives.

The New Facility is expected to be completed in September. Watch Eagle Eye News Monday Night for a full report.
