Kristi McGahee Elected Miss Auburn, Cink and Sasser in Run-off for SGA President

Kristi MaGahee, whose platform is P.A.W.S. (Plainsmen in Action for Wounded Soldiers), was just announced the 2010 Miss Auburn. As Miss Auburn, she will serve as the official hostess for Auburn University, and continue to promote her platform throughout the community.

Ashley Nichols, with 69% of the vote, was elected SGA Vice President over Brandon Gillespie.

Spencer Moore, who ran unopposed will serve as the 2010 SGA Treasurer.

Brad Cink, with 36.5% of the vote, and Kurt Sasser, with 32.5% of the vote, will go head-to-head in a run-off election for SGA President. Voting will take place on Monday, February 22. The third SGA Candidate, Daniel McCarty, did not receive enough votes to qualify for the run-off. Cink and Sasser will begin campaigning for the run-off Friday morning at 7 AM.
