Tiger Stomp 2010

Tiger Stomp is one of Auburn University's Black Student Union's (BSU) biggest events of the year. It is an annual stepshow in which fraternities and sororities at Auburn surrounding areas compete to see who can take home the trophy and the year's bragging rights.

The event was hosted by comedian Steve Brown of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. He kept the audience filled with laughs and entertained in between performances.

The show opened with a dance troop from Alabama State University and the many acts of the night followed. The show consisted of the fraternities, Omega Psi Phi, Alpha Phi Alpha, and Kappa Alpha Psi (with the help of Delta Zeta). The sororities of the night were Delta Sigma Theta Inc. and Alpha Kappa Alpha.

During the intermission Auburn's hip hop dance team, AU Rhythm, took the audience to class with their upbeat and at some points slowed down performance.

As the end of the night approached everyone was anxious to know one thing, who would take home the trophies. The judges gathered and came to a decision and the first place winners for the fraternities was Auburn's very own Theta Delta chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi and for the sororities Auburn's Kappa Upsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Inc. The night was a success as BSU carried on another successful year of the Tiger Stomp tradition.
