A Healthy Reform?

The recently passed health care reform bill has caused uproar in our nation. There are two major sides to the argument- those in favor of its passage and those opposed. One major pro, obviously, is that all Americans will be able to receive health coverage in some form, depending on the risk associated with the individual. However, these benefits will undoubtedly come at a price, and a high one to wealthy Americans. Moreover, the bill is extensive and detailed, making it difficult for some citizens to understand. Also, with the apathetic pandemic that has been spreading through our country, several Americans do not know, nor do they care to learn about the bill. However, the taxes will exempt no one. The bill will have various effects on all people in society, and especially on those in the medical field. A few Auburn University students had some opinions to share with Eagle Eye; it seems that both ideas have gained support.
