Of course they blame George W. Bush... Who doesn't!

Friday October 2nd, four possible cities were voted to see who would host the 2016 Olympics. Before that day, you probably heard all the news of different celebrities and of course the President traveling and promoting Chicago to host those Olympics. I personally think if Chicago hosted the Olympics it would be bad news for the rest of the country. It would take billions of dollars to host the Olympics and if you haven't heard we are in a recession. I don't think it would be a wise move to house something so massive while the economy is still healing. But that is besides the point, if you watched the voting then you saw Chicago got the least amount of votes and was eliminated first. People in Chicago took the news badly to say the least. People in Chicago and other Americans are blaming President George W. Bush because they are saying he created Anti-American feelings in other countries. Who knows, I can't read minds, maybe they did feel like that. But guess what American hosts the Olympics all the time. South America has never hosted the Olympics. The Olympics are supposed to represent countries all around the world competing for the love of competing and representing their countries. By giving South America a chance to host the Olympics through Rio de Janeiro, the Olympic voters made history and gave South America to show off their country and have the honor. I'm happy for Rio de Janeiro and hope they do a good job.

Chicago citizens, just because President Obama is from Illinois, doesn't mean he has the power to do anything and everything. I'm sorry you're upset about not getting the Olympics but guess what the Olympic games have been going on for hundreds of years and their not slowing down. I'm sure there will be a time in the future when Chicago hosts the Olympics. In the mean time stoping blaming other people for losing the vote and grow up.
